Upcoming Events
The band has been very busy working on sets for up coming events. Our last drum clinic with Steve Cameron went VERY well! We are looking forward to having more in the future. One thing we are talking about is planing a big annual drum clinic to get a big turn out.
Some members of the band are working with the newly formed Emergency Services Pipes and Drums Association here in Central Texas. This new band is comprised of FD, PD, and EMS personnel from around Central Texas. There are several upcoming events.

10/2 ESP&D “Performing members� practice in Austin 2-3pm (Repeats every Tues.)
10/2 ESP&D Pipe Chanter practice in Austin 3-4pm (Repeats every other Tues.) Todd Bircher Instructing.
10/3 ESP&D Drum practice, in Round Rock at Sam Bass Fire Sta.1, 6-8pm (Repeats every other Wed.) Steve Cameron Instructing.
10/20 10th anniversary of the USAR team in B/CS (Every member needed from the entire State for this!)
11/10 and 11th Salado
11/11 Veterans Day Parade in Austin
11/14 Sun City Event in Georgetown (Pending)
11/17 The State FD group quarterly practice in Austin all day, Morning will be practice chanters & drummers will be working on practice pads with Steve Cameron. The afternoon will be on the instruments, dinner with families, then down to 6th St. for some massed band fun!
Mid December ACC Fire Academy Graduation at Taylor H.S. (Will post more info on that one)
December Christmas Stroll in Georgetown.
Some other information to pass on is that Steve Cameron will be at the Black Bear Workshop in S.A. this year and at Red River so look those up & get those trades worked out.
