BC Mark Moss Retires!
After over 33 years in the Fire Service (15 of those with Georgetown FD) BC Mark Moss Retires on 1/30/2009. The Fire Department held an outstanding ceremony with the Pipes and Drums, Honor Guard, Final Inspection if the Rank and File, and awards and proclamations. BC Moss will be missed but he is looking forward to spending some time working on his Model A car and practicing his chanter. Mark is going to remain in the band and continue to strive to be playing the Bagpipes soon!
Best wishes Mark! Enjoy, you have earned it! I thought it was a great celebration of your service to the community. I heard many FF’s saying the same that Georgetown is doing the right thing here.
