2009 Red Poppy Parade
Here are some photos and videos from the 2009 Red Poppy Festival Parade. This was the 10th annual festival and the 2nd year that the band has marched in the parade. The Emergency Service Pipes and Drums Assosiation marched with the band to make this the best year yet. Members of the Fire Department including our new Fire Chief Robert Fite marched “Rank and File” behind the band followed by the recently reworked 1922 Seagrave Pumper named “Betsy”. The Georgetown FD Clown’s rode on the back. Recently retired BC. Mark Moss drove and retired VFF Wiggy Shell rode the “seat”! Following Betsy was the new 100′ Platform Truck Co. #1.
