Promotional Ceremony

A Fire Department Promotional Ceremony was held on Friday night at the Council Chambers. P/M Jeff Davis was promoted to Battalion Chief of the B-shift. Congrats Jeff!! Friday night also marked Amador Anguiano’s first performance back with the band since his tour of duty in Iraq serving our Country. It was nice to have him back. We were also joined by ESPADA and APD P/M Todd Bircher and Honorary Drum Sergeant Stephen Cameron. What a great night! The band is gearing up for a long run of performances.

Vacationing in Scotland!

Our P/M Jeff Davis vacationed in Scotland and was able to go see the World Pipe Band Competition! He also was able to contact the gentleman that he bought his first chanter from over in Scotland. Jeff wrote an article in the Piping Times telling our story about how we got started piping and the piper he met at the roadside stand read the article and contacted Jeff. He was very nice and wrote a tune dedicated it to the band.
