2011 Red Poppy Parade photos
We have added 2011 Red Poppy Parade photos to our Flickr page. This year we were again honored to be joined by the best Pipes and Drummers around! The Emergency Services Pipes and Drums Association (ESPADA). GFD P&D has a wonderful relationship with ESPADA. Some of our members are also members of ESPADA and we go play events with ESPADA and they come help us in return. We are able to get more opportunities to play and each gig makes each member even better. This year for the parade GFD P&D and ESPADA were able to have 12 Bagpipers, a Bass and 3 Snare drummers! Our instructor / Honorary Drum Sargent Stephen Cameron was leading up our drum line this year! It is always a blast having him join us! Thank you all! This year was great and we will see y’all next Year!
