Cameron Highland Drumming Workshop in Houston
Hello Drummers, Pipers and Pipe Majors,
Following another successful “Keeping Tradition Alive” event in Lewisville on May 14th, 15th I will be hosting the second in a series of 3 drumming workshops, and my intent is to build on the considerable successes achieved at the State practice in Corpus Christi and Lewisville. Many new students were introduced to the Scottish Highland Drumming art-form recently, and those who were returning participants showed tremendous progress and, as always, enthusiasm. We will be running through the Drum Fanfare “Alive and Well” introduced at Lewisville at this workshop too.
My hope is that as many of you as possible can make it to the workshop.
The logistics are as follows:
Date: Saturday, October 17th
Time: Noon through 5:00pm
Location: 1907 Freeman Street, Houston, TX 77009
Cost: $50 per person.
